FAISAL MAHMOODPrincipal Investigator
Faisal is an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School and the Brigham and Women's Hospital. Before moving to Boston he was a postdoctoral fellow at the department of biomedical engineering at Johns Hopkins University. His research interests include pathology image analysis, morphological feature and biomarker discovery using data fusion and multimodal analysis.
RICHARD CHENBioinformatics PhD Student
Richard Chen is a BIG Ph.D. Student at Harvard Medical School, with research interests in multimodal learning, domain adaptation and interpretability, and how they can be explored through computational pathology to elucidate cancer heterogeneity and biomarker discovery. He obtained his B.S./M.S. in Biomedical Engineering and Computer Science at Johns Hopkins University.
MAX LUResearch Assistant
Max Lu received his BS in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. His research interests include computer vision, pathology image analysis. He is interested in applying deep learning and convolutional neural network to the analysis of histology, specifically in the case of weakly supervised datasets where per ROI labels are unavailable.
JINGWEN WANGResearch Intern
Jingwen Wang is an undergraduate student from BFSU, majoring in computer science. Her current research interests include pathology image analysis and computer vision.
