
FAISAL MAHMOOD
Principal InvestigatorFaisal is an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School and the Brigham and Women's Hospital. Before moving to Boston he was a postdoctoral fellow at the department of biomedical engineering at Johns Hopkins University. His research interests include pathology image analysis, morphological feature and biomarker discovery using data fusion and multimodal analysis.

JANA LIPKOVA
Postdoctoral FellowJana completed her Ph.D. in the Computer-Aided Medical Procedures lab at the Technical University in Munich. She enjoys exploiting medical imaging, high-performance computing, multimodal data fusion and deep-learning in cancer research.

RICHARD CHEN
Bioinformatics PhD StudentRichard Chen is a BIG Ph.D. Student at Harvard Medical School, with research interests in multimodal learning, domain adaptation and interpretability, and how they can be explored through computational pathology to elucidate cancer heterogeneity and biomarker discovery. He obtained his B.S./M.S. in Biomedical Engineering and Computer Science at Johns Hopkins University.

MAX LU
Research AssociateMax Lu received his BS in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. His research interests include computer vision, pathology image analysis. He is interested in applying deep learning and convolutional neural network to the analysis of histology, specifically in the case of weakly supervised datasets where per ROI labels are unavailable.

TIFFANY CHEN
Clinical FellowTiffany is a senior anatomic pathology resident with a background in health policy and global health and interests in molecular diagnostics, healthcare innovation, and deep learning applications in digital health. She received her MD from the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine and BS and MS from the University of Southern California.

DREW F. K. WILLIAMSON
Clinical FellowDrew is a senior anatomic pathology resident at BWH and completed his MD at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He has a background in applied mathematics and an interest in the intersection between pathology informatics, machine learning, and molecular diagnostics.
